Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus expands its product lineup by launching OnePlus 5t at New York City on 16th November. It is the 7th product from the company in its smartphone segment followed by OnePlus 1, 2, x, 3, 3t and 5. OnePlus 5t is nothing but the successor of OnePlus 5, which was launched a few months back, and was a big hit by the company in the smartphone market.
OnePlus is always known for providing flagship specifications on mid-range phones. And this time also they have not slipped from their promise. OnePlus 5t offers decent specs at an attractive price of 32999 INR for the 6GB/64GB variant and 37999 INR for the 8GB/128GB variant.
The specifications of OnePlus 5t are almost neck to neck to a high-end flagship smartphone. Most of the specifications are similar to its previous version OnePlus 5 except in some areas.
One of the biggest changes OnePlus made on 5t is on the display. It packed with a 6.1 inch 18:9 aspect ratio in a Bezel-less design on the front side, which is the main highlight of this phone. Another new feature of OnePlus 5t is Face Id recognition.
For smooth performance, it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core SoC clocked at up to 2.45 GHz. coupled with 6/8 GB of RAM.
OnePlus phones are popular for its delightful camera experience and fingers crossed for 5t to have one which is way more than the existing ones. As per specification, it has a dual rear camera set up (20MP/f1.7+20MP/f1.7) and a 16(f2.0) MP front shooter.
The phone is powered by 3450 mAH lithium-ion battery with OnePlus ‘Dash Charge’ (quick charge) technology. The phone comes with the Android Nougat (optimized with ‘Oxyzen OS’) and OnePlus promises to roll-out Android Oreo within next month.
